L&D foundations for Atexis

TIMELINE

Aug. 2020—Jan. 2023

Introduction

At Atexis, a leading engineering and aerospace consulting, I contributed to redefining the Learning and Development (L&D) department to meet evolving training demands.

Working on internal programs and client-facing courses for renowned organizations like Airbus Defense and Space, I helped transform complex technical knowledge into learner-friendly, engaging eLearning solutions that aligned with both organizational goals and user needs.

My role

As one of the main in-house eLearning specialist at Atexis specializing in instructional design, I led the creation of effective training solutions by:

Developing learner-centered storyboards, prototypes, and UI/LX frameworks.

Ensuring top-tier quality in visual design, interactivity, and learner experience.

Teaming up with SMEs, developers, and designers to deliver scalable courses.

Standardizing and streamlining a wide range of training production workflows.

Projects: bridging instructional expertise with creative solutions

I’ve been involved in a variety of significant projects, leveraging my educational and instructional expertise to deliver effective results:

While working on-site with Airbus, I developed detailed guidelines and protocols to optimize the creation of 3D airport environments for piloting simulators.

By structuring workflows, the result was a precise and simple guide with detailed requirements that are easy to follow for newcomers and novices.

At Atexis, I was on the front line of the redesign of internal learning systems:

Standardization

Designed new interactive templates and and how-to-use-it guides to standardize internal and external course creation.

Learner-centered courses

Guided the development of the multi-path Instructional Design course tailored to user profiles, from storyboarding to multimedia integration and testing.

Workflows

Developed onboarding materials and training paths for newcomers.

Beyond formal courses, I created an array of learning aids blending instructional, and graphic design to support diverse training needs:

Quick-reference guides to assist employees in applying skills on the job.
